Constructive Anatomy

This volume has been redesigned as a practical guide for the study of drawing and anatomy. It incorporates more than 50 new diagrams showing Bridgman’s constructive method: starting from simple forms —boxes, cylinders, and masses— to progressively build the figure and its anatomy.

The new muscular diagrams relate bone structure, volume, and gesture, facilitating the comprehension of the figure from its basic construction to the anatomical details.

The translation has been reviewed to provide a technical and clear text. The illustrations have been restored or recreated to improve their definition and facilitate their study.

The volume also includes a final analysis of the relationship between Bridgman's method and Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical and constructive studies.
